Fireplace Inspections
|
| Riverview Condominiums owners are required to have their fireplace inspected every TWO years. Unfortunately, the last inspection was missed in the midst of the management changes between Reliable Property Management and Phoenix Management. We are now going to run this policy in conjunction with the even years. All units with fireplaces that burn wood must supply a certificate of inspection to Reliable Property Management before November 1, 2004. Failure to supply inspection certificate will result in $25 fine per day thereafter. (Gas fireplaces are excluded from this inspection).
Also please note that if you burn wood, firewood must not be stacked directly on the deck.
Riverview Regulation 4.3, Deck Storage: Firewood (1/2 cord maximum, neatly stacked on log rack or platform in such a manner as to not come in contact with the deck wood). |
Doggie Duty
|
|
Once again it is necessary to remind all dog owners that they are
required to pick up after their pets. This includes wintertime, even if there is snow on the ground. Thank you in advance for helping with this problem.
Riverview Regulation 5.4 Cleanup After Pets
No pets shall be allowed to relieve themselves on walks, paved streets, or in the vicinity of another Owner's Unit. Owners of pets shall be responsible for the removal of pet excrement and cat prey immediately from all Common Elements and facilities

Annual Riverview Community Yard Sale
|
With spring only a snow storm away, it is time to start thinking about spring cleaning. Get your stuff together for the annual community yard sale. We will pick a date for the yard sale at the Annual Meeting. It was suggested that the yard sale be extended over Saturday and Sunday in order to give sellers more flexibility. Watch for more information coming soon. |
Replacement Windows
|
| Are your windows drafty? Are you thinking of replacing them with more efficient windows? It was brought to the trustees’ attention that a unit owner is considering replacing his windows. He thought that if there were more people interested, perhaps he could get a better price. If you are interested in window replacement, let Ron at Reliable know (508) 435-1010.
Remember the doors and windows are the unit owner’s financial responsibility. Also, note that the board must approve new windows, because they must match those of the rest of the community. |
