AMENDMENT TO 1994 RULES & REGULATIONS 1.3
SUBJECT MATTER: EXTERNAL DECORATIONS FOR FRONT DOORS

External Signs and Article Display

No clothes, sheets, blankets, laundry, television attennas, refuse, outside window covering,  or any kind of other articles shall be hung out of a Unit or otherwise placed on any part of the Common Elements, except upon the written consent of the Trustees.  For Sale, For Rent, and other similar signage is not allowed. Unit Owners can temporarily display traditional seasonal and holiday decorations, either on the outside of the buildings or affixed  to windows or doors without the consent of the Board of Trustees provided:       

·         Decorations may be displayed on the front door only of units, with the following limitations:

1.        Traditional (ex./ non-holiday wreath or other decoration of a non-offensive nature, subject to the size and placement requirements listed below).

2.        Seasonal

3.        Holiday

4.        No decorations of an offensive nature are allowed.

·         Ornament must be restricted to a maximum of 2' x 2' in size.

·         Ornament must be placed in the upper section of the door, at the intersection of the door panels.

·         Ornament must not be permanently mounted.  It must be hung, using a hanger which goes over the top of the door.  No holes are to be made in the door.

·         Unit owners are responsible for any damage to the outside of the building resulting from the display.  If damage is not repaired in a timely manner, the Board reserves the right to repair the damage and assess owner the cost of repair.

·         The Board reserves the right to decide which decorations are deemed offensive, and the decision of the Board in this regard is final.
